AQA Functional Skills English Level 2 Past Papers

AQA Functional Skills English Level 2 exams are split into two papers: a reading paper and a writing paper. The reading paper assesses your ability to obtain information from sources, which are provided in an insert. Questions in this paper take many forms – some are multiple choice, some require you to write a word or a few words as an answer, and there are also some extended writing tasks. Questions will ask you to state information from the sources, infer information from the sources, and to summarise or compare sources, as well as a variety of other questions pertaining to your ability to understand the sources on the insert. The writing paper contains two questions – both of which require a long-form written response. Bonus marks for spelling, punctuation and grammar are available in the writing exam.
