Free Initial Assessments
At Pass Functional Skills, we have a flexible service for Training Providers that enables you to have as much or as little input as you like. In most cases, training providers let us look after their entire functional skills provision, including courses and exams; however, our flexible approach enables you to select the services that are right for your business. With many successful Ofsted inspection reports fed back to us, we are confident that we can help you provide the evidence you need to demonstrate the progress your learners are making.
The first step of the journey for training providers is registering your learners for our free initial assessment, which will determine what level they are currently working at. We are the only service to offer a free training provider login with advanced initial assessments and data reporting tools. You can register as many learners as you wish for no fee. Market Leading Courses
The Pass Functional Skills course has more video tutorials and learning features than any other course which is why our pass rates are so high. We have built and own the rights to the content and software which enables us to respond to feedback quickly and continually improve. We have both maths and English, level 1 and level 2 courses all of which accurately track distance travelled for each learner, making use of our proprietary Current Level logic.
Each course starts with a diagnostic test to determine which level a learner should enrol on. We do not charge of diagnostic tests, so you can have as many learners as you like take as many diagnostic tests as they need without incurring a fee. Once a learner is enrolled on a course then we encourage them to complete a subject knowledge assessment to determine which topic areas they need to work on to pass their exam. All of our courses come with Training Provider logins so you can track progress and generate detailed reports.
Other Services
As well as courses we also have other services to support apprentices. We are the only service in the UK to offer the full suite of functional skills support services in-house. We have qualified, experienced and DBS checked functional skills tutors to help support your learners as well as a dedicated exams team. We offer really flexible, Ofqual regulated exams through our exam board centre status. We are registered with two major exam boards, City & Guilds and Open Awards and offer exams 6 days a week including evenings and Saturdays.
In addition to tuition and exams, we also provide physical resources. Our products are popular with students throughout the country and are used to help support learning. These products include the following examples:
