A Subject Knowledge Assessment
The perfect way to start off your revision. It is designed to test you on your current knowledge, giving you a clear indication of the areas that you need to work on, helping to focus your revision on the topics that matter. This means you can optimise your revision to get the most out of the time you have until your Functional Skills Level 1 maths exam.

Explanations of each topic
At the beginning of each subject that the course covers, there will be a text explanation. This will go through and explain the topic in length, giving you a foundation in which to learn more about the subject by having a basic understanding.

Video Tutorials
After doing through the text explanation for a particular topic, you will be provided with a video, which will go more in-depth. A tutor will go through and describe how to complete the topic, explaining from start to finish how to answer the problems.

Practice Questions
After receiving a good understanding of the topic from the videos, it will be time to put that knowledge to the test through different practice questions. Each topic will have its own easy, medium, and hard questions, giving you a variety of ways to test your new knowledge.

Exam Questions
After finishing the practice questions and gaining more confidence, you can move on to some exam-style questions. These questions will be similar to those found on the Functional Skills Level 1 online maths exam. They are an excellent way to practice against some real examples, giving you an idea of what to expect on your exam.

Mock Exams
Finally, after finishing all of the different resources for the different topics you needed to work on (identified by the subject knowledge assessment), you can then move on to the 30 mock exams available for the course. Within these 30, there is a variety of exam boards, so you will be able to practice with papers from the exam board relevant to you. This provides an amazing opportunity of getting some real practice and experience!
