NCFE Functional Skills Maths Level 1 Past Papers
The NCFE Functional Skills Maths Level 1 exam is split into two parts. Section 1 is a shorter paper that does not allow the use of a calculator. It carries fewer marks, but poses simpler questions. Section 2 is a longer paper that requires a calculator, and primarily tests problem solving skills. Both papers are split into activities, and each activity is of the form of a question with multiple parts.
