The Open Awards Functional Skills Maths Level 2 exam takes place online. Candidates only sit one paper, but it is split into two sections with the same structure as the two papers of other exam boards. Section A is shorter, and you are not allowed to use your calculator. Section B is longer, with a greater focus on problem solving. You can use a calculator in section B.
