Open Awards Functional Skills Maths Level 1 Past Papers
The Open Awards Functional Skills Maths Level 1 exam is a single online assessment. The exam is split into sections A and B to mimic the two papers of other exam boards. Section A is shorter, tends to have simpler questions, and does not allow the use of a calculator; section B is longer, tends to have more difficult questions, and it is expected that you will use a calculator.

- Using Numbers and the Number System
- Using Common Measures, Shape and Space
- Handling Information and Data
25% of the marks are made available for showing underpinning skills, and 75% of the marks are made available for showing problem solving skills.
