1 Registration

You can purchase marking with feedback at the same time as buying the Pass Functional Skills practice papers, or you can purchase marking with feedback at any time after this. If you previously forgot then you can add this on now!

If you choose to get the marking with feedback afterwards, you can choose exactly how many papers you would like marked. You may not want all 5 papers marking, so select the individual number of papers to match your needs.

2 Complete the papers and submit

Complete the exam papers in exam conditions; put away any revision notes and mobile devices, and set yourself a timer outlined on the front of the paper.

Next, scan in or take photos of your completed paper and send send it in to Pass Functional Skills at help@passfunctionalskills.co.uk. You can either scan in your answers on your mobile phone or take photos, or any other way you see fit, as long as the content is fully readable so our marking team can mark your papers accurately. If your handwriting is not eligible, our markers may struggle to provide accurate marks. If you struggle with handwriting, feel free to type up your answers in a word doc.

Our marking team will dedicate their time to mark your paper, and provide valuable feedback.

Whichever way you choose to send your papers back to us, please be sure to include your name and order number.

3 Receive your personalised feedback

You will receive your personalised feedback within 5 working days of you submitting it. This will include feedback on how you performed in each question, as well as highlighting your strong and weak areas across the topics. You will also receive a grade, whether you have passed or failed, and some examiner’s comments on what next steps to take.

We will send you your feedback via email, so keep an eye out for it!

Once you have uploaded your completed exam papers, it will take up to 5 working days for you to receive your personalised feedback. You are able to purchase Fast track, which will get you your feedback within 2 working days.

Will you mark my exam board past papers? + −

Yes! We mark our own Pass Functional Skills branded practice papers, as well as past papers for each exam board, for Level 2, Level 1, Entry levels 3, 2 and 1 for Maths and English!

What's included in your feedback?

You will receive feedback on any areas you did well on, as well as any that you could work on (if any) for each question in the paper. The examiner will also provide a summary, with total marks, a percentage score and a pass/fail. You will also receive examiner’s comments on suggestions on what to to next.
