Functional Skills English Level 2 online exams are sat from the comfort of your own home. The qualification is made up of three components: Reading, Writing, and Speaking, Listening and Communicating (SLC). The Reading and Writing exams are each one hour long and are sat back to back in a two-hour session. The SLC assessment is taken on a different day and is completed in a group with other learners. Pass marks vary depending on the difficulty of the paper and the exam board.
