Once you’ve booked your exam through our website, we will send you some revision materials and instructions to help you get started. Once the exam date has arrived, you will be sent an invite to a video call with an invigilator, they will set up your exam for you and answer any questions you may have before the exam.

If you have been asked to achieve an entry level 3 qualification, then this exam will certainly fulfil that need as this qualification is Ofqual-approved.

Your results time can vary depending on when you take your exam. We offer fast track functional skills exam results, meaning your results can take anywhere between 5 and 16 working days to get back to you, but you can usually expect them to take less than 2 weeks.

All refunds must be requested via email. If you cancel your exam within 14 days of booking, then a full refund will be provided, minus a small administration fee. The exceptions to this rule are: 

1. You have taken the exam during this time.
2. You have purchased the exam with a date that is within 2 weeks. This is considered a fast track booking, which means we pay for the exam and invigilation space straight after the booking is made to ensure we can secure the exam timeslot. Therefore, no refunds can be provided for these exams.

Taking an online exam makes it much more accessible and convenient as you don’t have to travel and can take the exam at lots of time throughout the day. With the exams being online, we are able to get these booked for as soon as the next day! As long as you have a laptop or computer,  a working webcam and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet room you can sit the exam from anywhere you like.

The exam is split into two sections, section A and section B. Section A will last 30 minutes, and section B will last 75 minutes, for a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The pass mark can vary from test to test depending on the difficulty, but generally the pass percentage is around 50% – 60%.

You are only allowed to use a calculator for Section B of the paper. Section A is a non-calculator section.
