Functional skills level 2 qualifications are equivalent to a level 4 or GCSE grade C in the old grading system. They are accepted by employers, training providers and universities across the UK. They are usually a cheaper and more convenient option for people, as you can take the exams all year round and there are online options, so you don’t have to travel to an exam centre.
