Found the course materials very useful and passed first time.
I do not like maths at all and I was dreading this online exam. I haven’t studied it in years but had to get the exam passed as my qualifications from home were not transferable or equivalent to a GCSE grade C. The exams people were very friendly and took the stress out of it for me.
Everyone (or most people) hate maths and I am no different. The course definitely helped. Now I am moving on.
I was not looking forward to revising maths again having had 20 years off!!! I did find the course really helpful and it took me through everything from basic fractions (which I had totally forgotten) to algebra and the other stuff I needed to know.
I booked the exam at home, revised and home and even took the actual exam at home! Mad but worth it.
i would recommend this English exam to friends and family that have to do it.
do all the revision before the exam and you should do well.

Make sure you do the practice papers before the exam, they definitely help.
The online course was great as it has full video explanations for all the topics. I found the mock exams useful and felt confident when taking my exam. The online exam is easy to set up and all in all I was very pleased with the website and support.

Overall an excellent service if you need to pass your functional skills. I wish there were more free resources to help with revision, the mocks and pre-assessment did help a lot.

I had to do this functional skills to get a GCSE equivalent for my job in the NHS. I found it easier than the GCSE and managed to pass thankfully.
