It was the mock exams i found most useful. The reading and writing exam are what you would expect. I found the speaking and listening test a little strange as there are other students involved but once you get used to it, its all ok.
The level 2 English online exam is more straightforward than I thought. I didn’t have to download anything and the exam was easy to set up with a person on the other side to help you.
Useful to help prepare for the level 2 English. The practice questions help with testing what you have just learnt.

I was very worried about this exam as I have not looked at a maths question for year and year. After getting stuck into the course practice questions and mock papers I grew in confidence and thankfully passed.

My employer asked a group of us to take this exam to show we had the maths skills needed for a promotion. It was very simple maths but I appreciate some do struggle and the mock exams help.

the level 1 online maths exam is a good way to do the exam at home and you get the support you need. I am now doing my level 2 through this same people
I hate maths with an absolute passion so when my employer said I needed a GCSE equivalent or a level 2, I was not happy to say the least. I have never needed this qualification until now and it has never hindered my progress, extremely annoying that I had to sit this exam but really can’t fault the pass functional skills service. If you have to do this exam, use these guys.
I did get a lot of help from the pass functional skills team who gave me tonnes of free stuff to revise from.
The cheapest online level 2 English exam I could find anywhere and I did my research. The exam is split into 3 bits, reading, writing and the speaking exam. Make sure you revise the reading and writing and do the mock papers they give you, it really helps.

I was not looking forward to these exams but had to pass my level 2 for an access course. It def wasn’t what I was expecting but it worked out in the end. I would use the service again, but hopefully won’t need to.

I was worried about the online maths exam and that I wouldn’t be able to do it as I am not good with computers but it was really easy to set up and the invigilator was helpful with this and calming my nerves.
The online level 1 maths exam is not that hard if you do the revision.
Everything went smoothly from my exam booking to the exam day.
I found the functional skills English level 1 exams not too bad. I think I should have gone straight for level 2 really as a lot of the work seems to be the same but the college insisted on starting with level 1 first as I didn’t have a GCSE.
