When and how you’ll get your results

If you took English or maths in the November resit window, expect to receive your results in January 2026.

What if the results aren’t what you were aiming for?

Another route is to take a GCSE equivalency test. These are designed for those applying to certain courses, like teacher training or healthcare programmes. They tend to be more focused than a full GCSE and can be completed more quickly. Revision materials and online support are usually included to help you prepare.
