Functional Skills ICT Level 1 Past Papers
ICT Functional Skills Level 1 is a qualification assessing computer literacy. Having this qualification shows a level of understanding of a number of key skills in computing, including using office products such as those produced by Microsoft, finding information on the internet effectively, and staying safe and secure when online. A Functional Skills ICT Level 1 qualification is equivalent to a grade E-D at GCSE.
Most exam papers for Level 1 Functional Skills ICT are split into a number of activities. Each activity will involve completing a task on a computer, testing your ability to use a range of different types of software effectively and under time constraints. Some papers will allow you to work at your own pace through activities or sections provided you finish everything within the overall time limit; other papers set specific time limits for each activity or section. Most exam papers come with supplementary information or data sheets that you will need to know how to read and analyse in order to effectively complete the set tasks.
