Maths by Ian
At Maths by Ian we have developed a personalised approach that includes priority access and support to Pass Functional Skills online course and exam. It is convenient and accessible at times that suit you and your schedule. Maths by Ian supports students before the course, with additional lessons, during the course, email, and group classes, then helping with exam techniques and of course ensuring that student has the very best chance of a successful result.
Ian has worked in education for more than 20 years, helping students of all ages including adults to have the confidence and the skill to be determined to pass that test.
Start with confidence, book an information call, then complete the 3 introduction lessons. The course is designed to meet the needs of the business and a busy working life. Apprenticeship Connect
Apprenticeship Connect is a leading apprenticeship training provider and recruitment company with over a decade of experience supporting employers to utilise apprenticeships across England. They specialise in helping companies expand their workforce by identifying and recruiting the best candidates for apprenticeship roles and delivering apprenticeship training to new talent. Apprenticeship Connect also support employers across England to develop their workforce by utilising apprenticeship courses to train and upskill their existing employees.
Apprenticeship Connect’s comprehensive training programmes are designed with the highest quality in mind, ensuring businesses receive industry-relevant and practical education that directly benefits their employees.
To ensure their apprentices are well-equipped with the essential skills required in today’s competitive job market, Apprenticeship Connect has partnered with us to support their English and maths teaching provision. They use our services to assess apprentices’ starting points in English and maths, helping them identify where additional learning support for English and maths teaching is required. They also utilise our online resources to provide 24/7 access to online teaching resources to enable their apprentices to complete their required functional skills qualifications alongside their apprenticeships.
Valley Tuition
Valley Tuition was set up to support children and young people who struggle to attend mainstream school settings allowing them equal opportunities for their personal and educational growth. As a small independent Tuition provision, we provide education both privately as well as for the local authorities, schools and colleges. Our staff are trained to a minimum of Level 3 in Education up to degree level specialising in special education needs.
We offer 1-1 tuition throughout the National Curriculum Key stages, Functional Skills English and Maths tuition, Wellbeing sessions and Life skills.
Many of our students have experience of EBSA, SEN and SEMH to name a few. When we work with learners, we need to know that any support or interventions can meet need throughout the tuition and qualification process. Therefore, we are highly selective when choosing outside companies.
In collaboration with Pass Functional Skills, we support learners to achieve their Functional Skills qualification. We are able to assess learners to match them with the most suitable level of qualification before commencing any sessions. Alternatively, we can guide learners to the correct online course, adding 1-1 tuition sessions as and when required. Once a learner has completed the course, usually around 55 hours of learning, the examinations can be booked through Valley Tuition or Pass Functional Skills.
The Success Centre
The Success Centre is a community interest company that specialises in offering one-to-one tuition to enhance the academic abilities of students aged 8 and onwards.
We work with organisations such as Pass My Functional Skills and ASDAN to offer a package of qualifications suited to home-schooled students who wish to gain accredited qualifications equivalent to 4 GCSEs.
