The majority of university courses, apprenticeships and jobs require you to have level 2 (GCSE C/4) or above in maths and English. It is quite often the case that adults didn’t pass and never got the chance to resit or they can’t find their GCSE (O-Level) certificates from when they sat at school. In this case, the easiest way to prove that you are a level 2 in maths and/or English is by getting a functional skills qualification. We offer level 2 maths and English for adults, providing courses and exams to help you get the qualification you need.

Why would an adult take Functional Skills?

Functional Skills Level 2 Exams

Here at Pass Functional Skills, we provide Ofqual regulated exams that invigilated by one of our in house invigilators. All our functional skills exams are sat online. All you will need is a laptop, a quiet room and a good internet connection. We have exam slots available between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday, as well as some on a Saturday. Because of this there will be a time slot that works for you and your schedule, making level 2 qualifications accessible for all.

The course is split up into different topic, within this there is revision, practice questions and topic tests to help you build your knowledge.
